I find this black more subtle when compared to global strong black or dfx black.  I personally prefer this black for shading, and when you need a black that doesn't stand out too much and over power its neighbouring paint colour.  An example of this is: shading around teeth when painting a skull design.  It doesn't stand out too much.  
If compared to dfx black, the dfx black is a bit more crisp and dark, which I personally preferred for the outline and cracks in the skull.
I will be ordering more of this for sure.
